Virgil G. Thornton, Sr. is a lifelong Virginian with over 35 years of experience in leadership and community empowerment. He began his career with an apprenticeship at Newport News Shipbuilding, later becoming an electrical nuclear test technician on submarines as a civilian for the US Navy. He is also a certified foster parent and works with at-risk youth and mothers experiencing homelessness. Currently, he works as an executive coach, providing leadership training and professional development support.
