Wayne E. Hachey is a pediatrician with 34 years of experience. He served in the Army for 28 years, including a tour in Afghanistan, where he managed programs with large annual budgets. Since moving to Nelson County, he has been active in the community, volunteering with the Wintergreen Rescue Squad, serving on the Board of Directors for the Blue Ridge Medical Center, and acting as the Nelson County Local Medical Examiner.
