Wendell Walker is the incumbent Republican member of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing the 52nd District. He was first elected in November 2019 and assumed office in January 2020. His district includes the City of Lynchburg and a portion of Campbell County. Walker has served on several committees, including the House Finance Committee, General Laws Committee, and Health and Human Services Committee. He attended Liberty University. Prior to his election, he was a prominent leader in the local Republican party, including serving as the chair of the Lynchburg Republican Committee.
