Will Mbah is an incumbent Councilor At-Large, first serving from 2017-2021. Born and raised in Cameroon, he immigrated to Somerville in 2011 after winning the Diversity Immigrant Visa lottery. He holds a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Buea and a Master's in Soil Science from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. He previously worked as a technologist at MIT's Department of Environmental Health and Safety and is a father of two. In 2023, he was enrolled in Harvard's Kennedy School Center for Public Leadership.
