William Tauro

William 'Billy' Tauro is a newspaper publisher and author of the book "STEALING SOMERVILLE Death of an Urban City". He was born in Cambridge and raised in both Cambridge and Somerville, learning the auto body repair trade at his father's business. He has been involved in various community and service organizations in Somerville over the years. Tauro has owned several businesses, including limousine services and publishing corporations, though corporate filings indicate these have been involuntarily dissolved. He previously ran for Mayor of Somerville in 2021.
