Alex Thymmons is a first-generation American who immigrated from a communist country as a teenager. After earning his citizenship post-9/11, he served in the U.S. Army as an infantry rifle platoon leader in Iraq and a special operations detachment commander in Afghanistan, earning a Bronze Star. A small-business owner and community leader, he served as a VFW Post Commander and Rotary Club President, and advised Congress on defense, energy, and health policies. With multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in energy security, he is running for Congress in Virginia's 7th District to restore the American Dream, fight for the working class against a "rigged economy," and ensure a fair future for the next generation.
