Tim Cywinski

Tim Cywinski is a political communications specialist with over 14 years of experience, advocating for policies on poverty, education, economic security, sustainability, and environmental justice. He serves as Communications Director for the Sierra Club Virginia Chapter, promoting environmental justice and assisting communities against polluting projects. A graduate of Roanoke College and Johns Hopkins University, he previously worked on electoral campaigns and lobbying. Cywinski is running for Congress, expressing frustration with the Democratic Party's perceived inaction. He identifies authoritarianism as a major threat and proposes campaign finance reform to empower everyday people, strengthen democracy, and ensure policies work with communities.
